When I started my training consulting
business, I was looking for a symbol that said “learning” and inspired an aspiration
to excel, like flight, soaring boldly into the unknown armed with courage and
the knowledge to make it happen! What
better symbol than the classic “torch of knowledge” used by so many
institutions of learning and combined with the wings of flight ~ the emblem
of the U.S. Air Force Air Training Command. |

My slogan has been with me since 1967 when
I entered my alma-mater, the U.S. Air Force Academy. I think this tells it all. Adapted from the inscription on the pedestal
of the statue of the Eagle and Fledglings that stands in the Air Gardens of Air
